~Ella~
Today I came across somethig.
Something I should have known about a long time ago.
Ella Fitzgerald.
...
I am already aware of the fact that I am a sad,
sad excuse for a musician.
But my eyes have opened to a completely new world.
Jazz.
Now, I decided to join Jazz band without thinking
about jazz music at all!
But now that I listen to it, it changes things.
It has so much emotion, so much passion that might be hard to understand
But I think I do now.
The song April in Paris is absloutely beautiful!
I don't know if words can describe it!
The slow, steady beat of the music
uncontrollably moved my spine in a rythmic motion,
to the song. I was captivated.
The minor sixth and seventh chords
all are strummed along to create a masterpiece.
Exciting!
So much is going on in my head right now, I don't know if I can sort it all out.
But untill then, I will listen, and play, untill my heart feel content.
And also I would like to share a quote,
one that caught my eye, by nonother than Mark Twain.
He said,
"Last week I stated that this woman was the ugliest woman I had ever seen. I have since been
visited by her sister and now wish to withdraw that statement."
True words, if I have ever herd them.
Is it strange if I found some meaning in those words?
